The Program
Two diplomas, together.
Earn two official diplomas while attending your local high school. Through Academica’s Dual Diploma™ Program, the American school recognizes 18 credits for the subjects you already study in your country. You only need to complete 6 online courses with U.S. teachers to graduate from an American high school, strengthen your English and prepare for your future in the best possible way.

The Program
The American High School recognizes coursework completed at the student’s local school, acknowledging the quality of their academic preparation and achievements.
The AIS Dual Diploma Program is partly based on the recognition of subjects taken through your home country's High School. Out of a total of 24 credits needed to obtain a U.S. High School Diploma, 18 are recognized from the home country curriculum. The remaining 6 credits correspond to the 6 courses attended directly with Academica International Studies (AIS). By using the online platform, students access all the necessary teaching material and submit the required assignments.
Our Courses
Complete six high school courses with U.S. teachers
As part of your U.S. high school curriculum, you will complete two English courses, U.S. History, and American Government and Economics. You will also choose two elective courses from: Life Management Skills, Criminology, Psychology, Concepts of Engineering and Technology, Public Speaking & Journalism, Digital Photography, SAT Preparation.
How It Works: Study Plans
Choose the study plan that best fits your needs
You can choose the course of study that best suits your needs. The average weekly commitment is 3 hours per course, which takes into account individual study and monthly group meetings. The Program follows an internal academic calendar and each year is divided into two semesters.
Program Requirements
